The location of Norton's USA, Barrington, IL, has Catlow, a movie theater nearly 84 years old and having an interior designated an Alfonso Iannelli Designed Landmark. We scheduled our visit to the Catlow to follow a visit to Norton's USA. We were delighted with the excellent products, fair pricing (better than other web vendors for the products we purchased). Deborah and staff friendliness transformed shopping into a visit. The store, housed in a lovely old livery barn, is less than a half mile west of 59/Hough St, at the end of Lincoln Av., and less than a mile from the Catlow. By the way, the Catlow's movie tickets are $5, includes a sandwich/salad shop, and many visitors have their dinner before or with the movie. Combining a visit to Norton's USA with a Catlow's movie and dinner makes for a wonderful afternoon and end-of day. So, you can consider a visit to Norton's USA, not as shopping, but as a date.
